Camcorder Recommendations?

Anyone have suggestions for camcorders that would be particularly good for recording facials?

I'm shopping for a new/used camcorder so I can record facials from multiple angles. The one I currently have is an old Sony Hi-8 camera(CCD TRV-72) that I have to run my video thru a converter box to get on my computer. It's an ok if somewhat tedious setup, of course a direct firewire connection would be preferred.

I'm most interested in knowing if there is a camcorder that I could pick up on the used market that has a great reputation for high speed recording capabilities or low light abilities) I've got to limit my budget to under a thousand dollars (preferably more like $500, hence used)

Oh, and if it would make my dick look bigger that would be a nice bonus ;-)

This is the reason I came back to this website...And nothing.
I want a camera that will capture the flying ropes coming at me in super detail,so that I can pause the video and capture "mid action" pictures.

You might try bhphotovideo DOT com.
They have a good selection of both new and used photography equipment.
Very reputable. I have been buying my Nikon gear from them for years.

Pretty much any camera you like that will shoot at 50 frames per second or higher, any of the Canon Legria range, also panasonic V range.

If this thread is the only reason you came back here I think you may well be better off at a video / photography forum.
