.wmv problems

Hey all,

I am having trouble with some .wmv files. Simon Kemp's vids and others from another site play fine, but the audio doesn't work. Audio for every other video works perfectly, it's just something I've done that doesn't jive with certain .wmv files. Others work fine.

I tried re-downloading Windows Media Player, I've tried codecs, no luck. Anybody have any help out there?

Anything is greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading.

Brewer dood I have had all shades of disasters with codec's over the years.

Sure keep Windows media player if you wish but you really should download and install the K Lite codec pack. Copes with just about anything... even FLV's

available here:

make sure to get the:
http://finalbuilds.edskes.net/klmcodec.htm
version.

Keep it up to date and you will be able to play almost anything AND make great screen caps easily.
