I just signed up as platinum and did a jailbreak on my 3GS. What installs should I perform to be able to view FF content? There are many I've found but I don't want to waste money, memory or download something harmful. please help.

I recommend grabbing the free VLC player from the AppStore, and then (via Cydia) get the Safari download manager.

You can if you want but then you will have to jailbreak it all over again, I am still running 3.1.3 and I have no problems with it.
Try YXFlash it will play most vids, all you do is save your clips into a folder on your phone, then access it via YXFlash.

This app aint free but there are sites where you can download hacked versions of it.

I do web development and I could create a mobile version of the site, if the admins were interested. I have done web development for Mobile OS's for awhile. It would require no special plugins, no special apps. Just go to it in your mobile browser and you are good to go!

as far as im aware its a skin for vbulletin, but to be honest the research i have done suggests large media heavy sites suffer very slow performance.
i am continueing to look into this idea.

Tapatalk isn't a skin, and I can tell you this - performance-wise, I prefer to use it over a browser any day.

I'm sure you have all the resources you need, but I can always put you in touch with the vbulletin admin from a non-related forum that I practically live on.

I don't mean to sound like a pitchman for them, I just really, really, like using the app!
