It is a co-production with the company Kink using a lots of their stars (especielly the women, but also some of their guys), and it is recorded at Kink's head-quarter "The Armory" in San Fransisco.

Shortbus comes to mind. It's a... unique... independent film featuring a cast of New York actors with real sex scenes. It's kind of an oddball film, tho, written and directed by the same guy who co-wrote and directed Hedwig and the Angry Inch to give you an idea. Also, it has an equal amount of gay sex, so be warned if that's a big turnoff for you.
