annoying razor bump won't go away!

Well folks the clue's in the title. I like to keep myself trim as I think girls prefer it. recently I shaved around the base of my dick and got one hell of a razor rash - I used a steroid cream to clear the majority of it up and also regularly started to use a product called "ingrow go" which worked wonders. However, there is one ANNOYING AS FUCK red razor bump that will just not go away, I've tried everything to get the little shit out of there but it has been there for weeks!! It's embarrassing cos I am seeing a young lady tomorrow or the next day and I know we are going to have sex, but you know what it's like with paranoia about STDs. Any red spot down there sends up a red flag and I desperately want to create the right impression!

Anybody know of any miracle creams, herbs, lotions that get rid of razor bumps/folliculitis in about 1-2 days??

I also shave my bits, but I don't know of anything that can clear it up in a day. For future reference, I usually use a fresh razor which causes less irritation and then use a lotion afterwards. That generally reduces razor bumps. My wife uses a cream called 'ingrown zone' or something like that.

Only suggestion I have is trying a 'post shave healer', specifically designed to reduce redness, nicks etc. Clinique do one - works on the face anyway!

cheers folks! After checking out the clinique thing, that led me to Aloe Vera, rubbing alcohol, and apparently toothpaste works! Too late now to go to the shops so a night of having a minty dick here we come!

Sometimes the issue is that a wet shave will shave you too close, which leads to redness, ingrown hairs, itching a day or two later, and other maladies.

One thing that seems to work to shave close but not too close is to dry shave using talcum powder as the "shaving cream". That and a nice fresh sharp razor seems to do the trick. This works best on a stubble and not full length growth by the way. Might be worth a try to see if it works for you.

Witch hazel might help....does wonders (sometimes) with razor burn anyway. I tend to try and get too close of a shave sometime with my straight razors. (For my face only!)

ok so, in case anybody is interested and for future advice for others - aloe vera seems to be the solution to this! redness gone.

And also my "date" went well, great sex followed and she even let me spurt cum all over her happy face to finish off result!!!
