    Thumbs up Simply The Best!!

In my estimation, I have found Firefox to be one of the best, if not "THE" best browser around, it's quicker, it is constantly being upgraded, has a vastly superior selection of add ons and is more secure than "Billy Boys Bloated Browser!!"
I highly recommend that you give it a go and I doubt you will ever look at IE again!
If you hadn't upped this JL, I sure as hell would have!!
    Cheers!!

The only time I had any trouble with firefox is on dialup, that's when I started using safari for windows. Now that I have a better connection firefox is the only browser I use,the add ons are fantastic.Guys try it with DownThemAll and you will never go back to IE.

You should give the new Google Chrome beta browser a try. I couldn't believe how fast it loads pages that have never been cached before. I just installed it earlier today on my PC, and it's better than I would have thought. (Only available for XP/Vista at the moment)

I use both a Mac and a PC due to my work on-line. I also have every flavour of browser installed on both the PC and Mac, so I can check things. This new Chrome from Google looks like it just may be both an IE and FF killer The webmaster boards have been all abuzz about it.

Just go to Google and there is a link to it right on the main page.

Thanks for the tip CC, it's quite a good browser, I am using it right now as I key this, as it is a beta I think it still has the feel of a "work in progress" though, it is a quick loader but for me it lacks the versatility of Firefox (the option configurations, add ons and themes)
But in time maybe that will come, certainly better than IE, but it won't tempt me away from Firefox.

    Default IE and FF

I had problems with IE and downloading stuff.
Quiet a few of the 'old' hands around here suggested ff.
It is really good, it also comes with other 'little' programs that allow you to do lots more than IE.
Download vids, pics and imbeded movies (Youtube etc).

I will not go back to IE on my home system. EVER.
