Joining Video Struggles

I have for years used FireFox browser and downloaded HJ split files into a folder and then joined them together. Just recently now the files are downloading individually as finished MPEG files and HJ split doesn't recognize them as files to join. They also wont play individually.

Any advice on what I can do to go back to the way I once was able to download and then join files with HJ Split?

I assume you're an OSX user. Firefox changed the default way it handles split files. It's a total pain in the ass. I would suggest that you switch to using Safari (or even Chrome if you don't mind your data going back to Google). And submit a complaint to Firefox's knowledge base.

I experienced the exact same issues with Firefox, swapped over to Chrome as my browser and it worked like a charm.

Thanks so much for your response I will try changing my browser and hopefully it will resolve my issue. I assume Edge would work as well, I’d prefer not to use Chrome.
