File upload manager not working correctly

It seems that the upload manager isn't working correctly, because when I try to add files to my post, it fails to upload them, even after multiple tries.

This just started happening today, but in general the manager isn't entirely reliable for me. I've found that very often, my uploads will not take, although I usually get them to work by trying again - today that is not the case, and I can't get any of them to post, at all. Anyone else having this problem?

Clear your cache and all cookies that helps me.

I tried that, to no avail, but it seems like the problem isn't with my cache. In fact, an addon for Chrome was causing the upload to fail. I just installed a video autoplay stopper, which apparently prevents the upload manager from working correctly. I disabled it, and the uploads work normally now.

On a side note, is there any way to log into FF securely, with HTTPS?
