your image should be no bigger than 180x180 pixels or 97.7 kbs in size.
and in jpeg form, click on the 2nd option and then navigate to the image you want,if its in size and jpeg it should upload.

Ok, I'm thinking I must be one of the dumbest newbies - but where do I find the "New Thread" button? I've searched high and low and will no doubt end up very embarassed by the answer! (I have what I think is a good idea for a new thread and have a few of my own pics to start it off).
Go to the forum (amateur pics, homegrown pics whatever) you want to post your thread in, the new thread button should be on the left hand side of the screen underneath the blue bar with UserCP FAQ Community etc
no problem kazza,if you dont ask you dont find out
when you enter a section take a look in the top left hand side, should see an icon saying "new thread".

Ok cummer89, I tried the pic you sent and it worked for me.
Have you seen the steps here?

Thanks Elgrego and Spence. I'd been entering the different sections of the forum through the archive and no 'new thread' buttons on show via that route. I'm sorted now and will 'give it a go' this weekend. Thanks again.
Can I enquire how one gets around the 10 pic upload limit? I notice some are able to post much larger numbers of pics than 10 but I can't see how?
Also, I notice if I download a vid or a file I get speeds of between 300-500kbs/sec which is great. If I try to upload to the site the very best I get is about 50kbs/sec which is a bit of a pain. Sorry to admit but it probably encourages me to dowload far more than I upload - again, any tips anyone?
Thanks, Kazza61
Post your 10 pics then let them upload, then just repeat the process as many times as is required. When finished then hit the submit button.
Upload speed depends I think more on your ISP than the forum and will never be as high as the download speed.
Someone may be able to provide a more technical answer but that's the way it is for me too.
Perseverance and patience required when uploading
