Can I enquire how one gets around the 10 pic upload limit? I notice some are able to post much larger numbers of pics than 10 but I can't see how?

Also, I notice if I download a vid or a file I get speeds of between 300-500kbs/sec which is great. If I try to upload to the site the very best I get is about 50kbs/sec which is a bit of a pain. Sorry to admit but it probably encourages me to dowload far more than I upload - again, any tips anyone?

Hey kazza61,

the difference between download and upload speed is normal - I guess that you have a brad connection with 5 MB download and 512 kB upload speed. I have a 10/1 MBit connection, that equels to 1062-1125kbs/106-112 kbs (down/up)

The forum has limits for picture sizes.

There is no way to avoid it, I am afraid, at least not in the free forums.

when I post an image always get the

must be doing something wrong hate having the moderator correct it everytime

Stevx, when you post a comment you need first Go Advanced.
In the Advanced Mode, after click on the Manage Attachments button (Additional Options section) the download window appears. It is a new window or tab.
The Upload File from your Computer section you can use to choose the pictures that you want to upload. 10 pieces a time, for larger files it is recommendable to limit it to 5. Don't forget to press the upload button. When you have all uploaded press the Submit Reply button in the Reply to Thread section. Thumbnails will automatically created when you upload pictures.

Hope this will help you, I hate it to correct it every time
The reason is that for some users the [ATTACH] tags disturb the thread. And for FireFox the Thumbnail Expander won't work.
Don't hesitate to ask if you still have some trouble.

it fooled me because when I preview the post I don't see the thumbnails
but when I submit reply they are there just like you said

After my first upload it's not any more possible to upload new pix. It looks like there is a quota!?

The upload bar is red and I get for the new pix the message that the quota was already reached.

So I may not upload more pix as not paying member?

This is an anti-spam measure. New users are in a limited usergroup for a short while. This restriction will go away with a few posts.
