recovery

does anyone know any programs that are good for recoverying data. recently my stash o porno was deleted by a drunken, angry girl. i had a decent amount of pics and vids in two or three dif folders. i would like to ge them back, and i know there is a way because windows only deletes the files location off the hd. or somting like that. i want them so i can start posting more than just lame screen caps on this site.

what i meant is does anyoen konw the name of programs that can recover jpg and avi formats?

There are so many to choose from. I had accidentally deleted my entire stash as well. I could not remember the program that I specifically used to recover them though. Go to google and search for "Top Ten Review" click the first link and that site should have a review of backup software listed under their software section. I would provide the link but I'd be penalized for helping :rolleyes:

First thing stop using your computer ASAP if you want to recover files, the more you write to your HD the less files you're going to be able to get back as you're likely to overwrite the data.

Most of the recovery programs are going to have a cost associated with them but you may be able to find some freeware. I've used one called Handy Recovery that works great to help resurrect lost files or things you accidentally deleted.

Second of all, do youself a favor and do the due dilligence to protect your files, have a password protected login for yourself with access to those folders and if you need to let someone else use your computer or share one let each person have their own access with their private files, problem solved.
