Opening thread from recent threads page

Hi, just wondering why we are set up that when i open a thread from the recent threads page it takes me to the 1st page of the thread (which i most possibly have seen before) rather than the last page of the thread?? Personally i would like it to open on the last page, as that is where the most recent post has been, and that's why we look in the recent thread isn't it??

If I understand what you are asking right - if you look in the column to the right of the thread names, there is a column called 'Last Post'.
Next to the name of the last member to post is a small arrow > that will take you straight to the most recent post in that thread.

Also, for multiple page threads, there is a link 'last page' to take you to the last page

you will find it much easier rick if you use "new posts" each visit then you can click on the last page.
