search engine indexing of profile pics?

Hi, i'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I was just curious about this. Can search engines like google and bing index FF profile pictures? They seem to be able to index avatars, but I wasn't sure if profile pics had the same kinds of permissions.
Any info you might have would be helpful, thanks!

Yes, in most cases search engines can index profile pictures on forums. Usually Webmasters can create a file called robots dot txt that dictate to a search engine "spider" what can, and cannot be indexed. The good news is that on forums the spiders don't typically index every page of a forum. They tend to only follow one or two levels deep.
