Guess its the same reason as pornhub

Give that site a look. Lots of 1080p and even 4k to download.

Maybe you can download x hamster and porn hub with downloadhelper on Firefox.

... or Vget is good...

Download helper didnt work anymore for x hamster.

I use JDownloader 2
Runs in hte background and when I copy a link it "grabs" the video file which you then download. Not perfect as there are manual steps involved, but does the trick
