I don't have a lot of experience with either, but I know Tindr works pretty well for a lot of people (even for an additional partner). My friends all have bad Tindr stories but they do hook up quite frequently on it. There's also a threesome (or more some) app called Feeld. I setup a profile on it for a trip to NYC and got over 700 responses to my profile within a couple of days.

A word about Tindr: I believe it uses your Facebook profile so you may not want to do that. I've had a couple of friends who have shown me someone came up in their feed and yup, I knew them (and they were fooling around). Just be careful. You could always setup an alternate FB profile (technically against their rules but whatev) to use for it.

Anyway, point being CL is shite these days and maybe one of those will yield you (and therefore us!) better results.
