Question on the stills

I have been contemplating NOT using the still camera and instead grabbing frames from the video to use in the galleries....what do you guys think? Is that good enough quality or do you prefer the DSLR Pictures?

One of the great things about using a stills camera too though is you get to see all the action from a slightly different angle though!

I would definitely still shoot proper photos. Although the quality of stills is almost up there with dslr cameras (and in some cases on high end cameras is equal to traditional shots), in most cases the quality is still lacking and I think that having shots that differ from the film (both poses and composition) will always be preferable. I always feel a bit cheated when the 'photo' section of a site is actually just video stills. But I am more of a fan of still photography than I am of video, so I might be a bit biased!
