I have pics on my phone SD card that i want to upload and the manage attachments link finds them when i browse but no files are uploaded. Please help! Actually the manage attachment function does NOT find the jpeg files on my phone at all as i thought it did. When i click on "choose a file" - nothing shows up. Any suggestions?
Not sure this is still an active thread, but I have a question??? Posting pics sounds easy enough and I want to try it (and vids too once I read through that thread), but is it ok (legal) for me to posts pics from other pay websites?? In other words pictures I did not take myself??? I have tons of Amateur Facial pics from when I was a member there, just not sure if it was allowed here???
Oh and I guess I have the same question regarding videos???
Unless you are site ripping brand new material and posting it here, or the site the material it has come from an owner who has asked us not to reproduce their material here, (see this thread for more details), or you are cropping watermarks from photos, then the answer is yes, it is acceptable.Quote:

Maybe the answer was posted somewhere, I tried looking but I didn't see it. Sorry if it's been posted before. How do I upload .gif files? I tried using the attachments and insert image but both only come out as .jpg files that don't move. Thanks in advance!:confused:

It sounds like they are too big, if a .gif is over 1mb it will display as a jpg picture only.
Have you checked the size?

With the new upload system is place, is there now a way to upload multiple pictures at a time? As in once I get into the dialogue box to upload a file, being able to select 5,10,30 pictures at a time to upload into the upload manager rather than having to upload each one individually? Having to click add files, choose file, select, open, upload for multiple pictures is extremely tedious and a little silly.
I'm curious if having to upload one picture at a time deters our Homegrown users from uploading more extensive picture sets.
can you upload multiple files at once with the upload manager ?
Use chrome or firefox browser and it will work IE has problems at the moment.

Yeah...uploading my profile picture was an exercise in patience.
But in learning the navigation, working on getting verified before I start paying my pictures.
Also need to learn this watermark thingy.
I really can't upload pics or anything else, i can't find The manage window, is it because i'm trying to post with The smartphone? Is it possible? Thanks a lot

I am having issues with my pictures being compressed after they are processed through the "Upload Manager" pop-up window. I have recently discovered this when I uploaded screen grabs of high definition videos that are 1280 x 720 in dimension and 45 KB in size. Their dimensions and size have shrunk after the Upload Manager cranks them back out. I even tried using the original thread poster's VLC screen grabbed photos with the same result. The size parameters indicate 2.38 MB, 1024x1024 jpeg files which is not the limit my files are exceeding, so I thought. I am quite puzzled.
For an example, I have uploaded a screen shot from Pierre's thread http://www.facialforum.net/showthrea...eengrabs/page9 You will notice after downloading to your hard drive the photo is 307 KB, 1920 x 1080. But when I upload it into Upload Manager, the file size is 45 KB and 1024 x 576 dimension.
Why is the system compressing files and how do I prevent this compression for pictures? What am I doing wrong?

I've uploaded a few already in the past and a few recently but since last week I can 'upload' them but they never show up in the Manager to select. I've tried different sizes, different formats, different file names and even different browsers but I keep getting the same results.
Try clearing your cache and ALL cookies.
