You are allowed to, Tricare just won't pay for it. You have to pay for it yourself.

Here are some that I will share. This is the lovely Tonya wearing one of my uniforms shortly before I was sent to Iraq. She autographed the inside of the jacket for me. I wore it into Iraq, then out of Iraq, and on several missions. It was, and still is, my lucky shirt.
