Just came across this this picture from an art exhibition in New York a few months ago. It features a montage of pictures of women with loads on their face - it's pretty hot! :D
I can't work out which artist from the list actually did it, but the exhibition was called 'The Male Gaze'. Pretty interesting all round.
The first pic is just an announcement of the show and the artists names, no facials in that one! ;)

Still, it is interesting how mainstream facials are really starting to become somewhat of a new normal. Just 25 years ago a lot of pornstars would not do them. Then, as it became more common, it turned into a requirement for many porn makers. Later, with the internet exploding and the rise of true amateurs doing it AND enjoying it, we have seen facials become much more normalized as a sex act. Now we have serious academic discussions about it and here we have it shown in an art show. This particular piece might not be art in a conventional sense, but as a testament to the changing norm it does work.

Yeah it is interesting - as you said, some pictures that definitely belong to members here as well as one of a model that we are asked not to post - the ethics and legalities of using images like this are hazy to say the least. Just look at the problems around the Shep Fairey 'Obama Hope' image - he settled out of court with, i think Reuters (?) in what ammounted to an gentleman's agreement in the end but there was still no clear-cut law/rule to take away from the case.Quote:
