NJDevil - if it helps, I run a Mac also and I use 2 apps to help with these split files:

1. Split and Concat - it joins files that have been split and also splits larger ones. Easy to use and pay by donation if you want to.

2. NameChanger - This app lets you rename the split files all at once. What I did with Anon's files was drag and drop them into NameChanger and entered ".mpeg" into the replace field. This strips off the .mpeg and leaves you with "xmasgreeting.avi.001 through .006. Now just open the .001 file with split and concat, choose concat and it creates xmasgreeting.avi - it's ~106MB and opens fine on my Mac running OSX Lion.

There's lots of other ways to do it, but this always works for me so hope it helps.

You have got to be kidding me, the pics of Anon are nice. The Homemade feel of them look great, but... The load is only on her chin. Pretty much everyone knows that the bigger the better. The people who know where my vote is going, to them keep up the good work. Anything less is unacceptable.
