Just clicked on the New Posts button as normal and got two announcements appearing at the top (Chat & Janurary Competition) yet if I try to read them I don't have permission!
Any ideas why?

I am not sure why those announcements are not working properly. I have passed this along to Admin so hopefully this will soon be fixed.
could you try clearing your cookies, then try again.

How do you clear out your cookies?
depends on your browser, but with internet explorer, you click Tools, then Internet options, then lolk for temporary files or cookies.

If you are running Firefox, click on tools/options and click on the privacy tab
On Macs, it is "empty cache" :)

Well now there are no announcements showing if you use the New Posts feature!
