Recommended Firefox Add-Ons

Thought I'd put together a list of Firefox add-ons I use that really make browsing a whole lot easier and quicker. :)

If you have any questions as to how a certain add-on works, feel free to ask. Likewise, if there's an add-on you'd recommend, please tell me what it's called so I can check it out... ;)

Please don't post any hotlinks to add-ons - this first post will soon contain the active hotlinks to the add-ons.

Image Zoom: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/139/ : Adds zoom and rotation functionality for images. If you have a mouse, holding down the left button and using the scroll wheel you can zoom in and out on any image.

Linkification: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/190/ : Converts text links into genuine, clickable links.

QuickDrag: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6912/ : Extends the function of the drag-and-drop mouse gesture so that it can be used to load URLs, do a web search of selected text on a page, or save an image on a page. All with a simple drag!

repagination: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2099/ : See more search results etc. on one page, connecting several pages together. This link claims it doesn't work in the newest veriosn of Firefox, but I have it and it is working, so...

Screengrab!: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1146/ : Screengrab! saves webpages as images. It will capture what you can see in the window, the entire page, just a selection, a particular frame... basically it saves webpages as images - either to a file, or to the clipboard.

Text Link: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1939/ : Allows URI texts written in webpages to be loaded by double clicks.

Any questions or recommendations are more than welcome...

I like the set when you don't have to click on the picture. It automatically gives the full picture if you scroll on the pic.

It's very usefull on a forum like this one!

You know, Bobby, this is the kind of thing that makes the price of admission worth it (even though this is in a free forum). Thank you. I use some fo these already but was unaware fo some of the others.

What was this one called again fm2005freak? Pretty sure I used to have it, but got rid of it for some reason, can't remember why...

Wouldn't mind checking it out again to see if it can win me over. :D

I think a lot of people here use that one greyhound :), including me.

Works a treat. Very useful.

That isn't actually one I used before (think it was called 'Cooliris' or something like that), but that is an awesome extension!

Works for gifs too, brilliant! :D

having upgraded to Firefox 4, thumbnailexpander no longer works. Any suggestions for workrounds?

Autopager is a must have!

Apps don't work with the new version of firefox.

The Firefox browers has been changed completely. For some add-ons there are substitutes you can use instead, but not for all.
