I personally think if after being here a year and NOT contributing then yes delete the account...however! That just means a multitude of bogus accounts for the mods to deal with. I'd say if you don't "post" something every 90 days max then you get clamped down on and eventually moved to the delete status...lets face facts here it's the contributions that make this place rock!!!

All good points. People don't have to contribute content personal or found elsewhere, but at least say that chick is hot or enjoyed that vid. Bring things more alive, who knows maybe someone is looking through an old thread that's been buried for a while and lots of people missed and it would be nice to bump it up for the rest to see.

Pulicaus, thanks for creating this thread and starting the conversation. And thanks too to everyone who has posted their thoughts here. Always a treat when someone brings up the lurker issue. Typically we do see some lurkers come in from the cold and make their, hopefully, first post. Sometimes that is all it takes to get another good member going. As for the question, I can understand those who feel long inactive lurkers should be deleted, but I don't agree. As a practical matter unless we ban them by IP -which has it's own consequences - any lurker will just reopen another account. Plus it really won't do much to affect reposting. Too many ways to get around the lurker status and all too often reposters have made posts here anyway. So no real advantage to deleting the lurkers. On the other side, we have a lot of lurkers who do one day decide to get active. Then they find they like the interaction and we have another active member. We want to encourage that any way we can, even if it means accepting a LOT of lurkers.

For the lurkers out there, I just want to say you are hurting yourself if you see something you REALLY like and you don't let the OP know it. People who upload do it partially because they want the feedback. If they don't get it they typically post less or, sometimes, stop posting for awhile. So even if you don't have anything to share yourself, at least thank people for the stuff you truly enjoy. Do that and you will see more of it, guaranteed!

I've replied to lots of posts, started a few threads, and have even posted a pic or two. (I try to post pix I haven't seen on here, which are few and far between!) I have some great pics of gfs that I'd love to post one day, but until the subject of my pix gives me permission to do so, I'll respect her wishes.

I didn't mean to start with the intention of having users post their private pics ( although it would be nice) rather just a response from the inactive users. Just a thanks or who knows maybe they have some more pics of that girl you're looking for... but are eh... to comfortable to make the effort to post them. Just wanted to raise a flag that you out there are welcome to participate with anything. Just say something.

No! The only reason anyone should get banned is if they have been rude, disrespectful or violated the reposting rule. My humble opinion.
I lurk on sites to get a sense of how things work and how respectful people might be. Since I only post on Facial Forum, it makes me a lurker on other sites. Facial Forum is the only place that has the less positive people under control.

There is a heavy poster, now banned, that I have caught reposting. Lurkers are not always leachers. They are just avid masturbators that need both hands. lol

    Default Lurkers Anonymous

    Hello.

    My name is azriel15.

I was a lurkaholic here for over four years.

    Look at me now.

Thanks to Lurkers Anonymous (LA), I was able to overcome my lurk addiction.

Thanks to their 2 -step program, I beat my affliction.

    Step 1: click on reply.
    Step 2: type.

Remember to say the FF prayer:

I am powerless against great facials on gorgeous pornstars, amateurs, and also powerless against the allure of the gloryholeprincess, little lo peep, stunts, and the other fair maidens who are members here. Please give me the strength to click and reply, and to post good content, and to know the difference between good content and bad content. I also pledge to follow the rules, obey the word of the moderators and admin, and to send them some praise occasionally.

Wow. That prayer re-energizes me everytime!
