Image file converter question

I'm looking for an Image file converter (a.k.a. Batch Converter) that will allow me to covert hundreds of Bitmap (.bmp) files to .jpeg files.

I have tried a couple of trial versions that have lame restrictions like only 6 files can be converted at a time, or another left a label tagged in the lower left of the image advertising the program and stating that the full ($) version did not tag.

I would much rather not pay for the software, and i need to to be able to do hundreds of images (damn ifap). Anyone have any suggestions?

I totally agree - the best choice - I use it myself!

Just to add my contribution.........I use the batch conversion tool within paintshop pro...its always worked a treat for me
