firefox can not view pics

hi all i'm running firefox 3.0.10 and i'm not sure if it was this update but i now can no longer view any pics. what happens is if i select a thread the attachment box of thumbnails is empty and i can't view or click on anything.

i have tried using another browser and i can browse like normal so i know this is a firefox issue.

any thoughts?

Maybe a prog to block ads has blocked this section by mistake? Also using 3.0.10 without any problems so it must be specific to ur comp whatever it is

yeah thanks, i found that out myself today when i tried a different machine with firefox.

i'll try playing around with my settings see if there is something odd about them

FeBe is a great add-on to back-up and restore all your settings.
I use it when some in FF goes wrong and it saved me more than once.

It won't help you this time to restore your settings, but maybe next time ?

I actually started using Firefox for uploads, which seems to work better than Safari. But I can't seem to download pics in Firefox. It downloads a file, but it has no preview and I'm told it's not a proper filetype when trying to open or re-upload.

Jzzr, when do you expect a preview of a picture ?
In option--> Applications you can see what Application will open a picture. What application will open e.g a jpeg?
Did you use an add-on to download ?
