Viewing pictures in safari

Is there a way for me to view the pictures in a post without having to click the image, have a new tab open with the image in it, and then have to close the tab and return to the original tab with the post? This is a most tedious way to view the images. I'm mostly on my iPhone or iPad, and I was not too fond of the TapaTalk app. Besides, I also had this same issue when I browsed in Firefox.

Any info at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have exactly the same question. New here and it looks like a great site but find it frustration clicking on every picture and having all the tabs open. Anyone know a better way?

facialadmin and wicked , our tech guys, are working flat out on a total answer for the best experience here on handheld devices.

It will be truly phenominal... All I can say is watch this space and please be patient.
