    Default choppy playback

    Some of the files I download playback really choppy. It is like it stops, fast forwards a little bit and then starts again. I think it is the HD, mp4. divx files mostly. Some are fine and some aren't. I use VLC and it is the current version. I will admit that my computer is a POS ( 12 years old and still on XP). Could it be the graphics card?

    Any advice is appreciated.

    possibilly, but try it on another pc before doing anything else, that'll tell you if its ur pc.

    Appreciate the advice. Never thought of doing that. Everything is on an external drive so it is a simple thing to do.
