New upload system

Is it just me or is the new upload system a piece of c**p?

I tried to upload new stuff in some of my threads and there were several problems:

- Within 1 hour all your uploads are being cancelled, uploading bigger files is almost impossible.

- It's difficult to see which files I already uploaded, if the file names are long, the preview doesn't show the whole file name.

- Only 2 uploads possible at once ?

Maybe I don't get it, I would be thankful to anyone who could help !

Sorry you are having trouble with it. It is not just you. Admin is still working out some of the bugs from the software upgrade. Not sure if that will address all the problems you mentioned but I have passed this on to them as well. Hopefully most, if not all, of these issues will be fixed soon.

there are only 2 upload manager available, basic and advanced
with the basic version you cannot order your caps, members complained about this so the advanced has beed turned on.

unfortuanately this is the better uploader, as yet whilst testing it i found no problems, apart from its a little confusing to see
all your attachments in the window at the top.

OK, thanks a lot for the help to all those who replied, especially facialadmin.

Guess I will try again this weekend.

Especially the 2 files upload limit is annoying if you have a large video file to upload (which I normally have).

The "old" upload system was perfect once you got used to it.

I did find it confusing initially, but I think now it is more flexible than the 'old' method.

Probably take some time to become accustomed to it.

Not sure what you mean by the 2 file upload limit though, can you not just keep clicking the + button (next to upload) to add more up to 10?
