    Default dropping connection when downloading

    Hi,

    I've recently upgraded and this is the first time I've attempted to download anything from the forum. The trouble I'm having is that downloads are constantly being interupted and I'm having to click resume numerous times before I can get anywhere?

    If the file is greater than about 10Mb I'm snookered!

    Any advice would be appreciated

    Sorry you are having trouble.

    I have not heard any other reports of such an issue lately. Is it possible for you to try a different browser (maybe Firefox or Chrome) assuming you are using IE?

    It might be helpful for others who may have input to list what operating system you are using, what browser you are using etc.

    Hi,
    I'm having such problem too. When download starts after several downloaded megabytes I've receive an error: Connection dropped, file is no longer available.
    The "Remember me" checkbox doesn't help. Problem occured even in Firefox and Chrome.

    I am no techie but am having no problems. Have you enabled "session cookies" in your browser? If that is no good then someone will be along soon who can help.

    Of course cookies are enabled. But this doesn't helps

    What browser are you using?

    You can see our problem we have well over a million downloads from here a week and very few problems.

    I have asked the server guys to check all is well our end.
