why does it download htm

So I am having an issue downloading any pics. I am using android default browser (and maybe that is the problem) and whenever I try and save a pic it downloads it in htm format and therefore can not view it in my gallery. Would this issue be fixed if I use fire fox? Or is it an issue with how I am viewing the attachments? I simply click on the attachment to view and it opens in a new window. Click on pic and hit save and the file is named attachment 22 . htm for instance. Any idea whY I can do to fix? Thanks!

Ok so once when I opened a thread the attachment section had the jpeg symbols without the thumbnail pics. I was able to click on the symbol and then open the jpeg on a new window. Then when I went to page two of the thread it went back to the attachments section being thumbnails of the pics and then could only open them in htm format again.

I don't understand what is happening on your phone... It works fine on my Galaxy S3. No problem at all using the default browser.

Yes I am signed into the forum. Do you need to be a premium membership in order ro download off the free forums? Then I press down on the pic to save then it saves as an htm file not a jpeg. The window that pops up has a .php in it. And when I save it saves as attachment-52 . Htm. I can view the picture just fine. I just cant save it as a jpeg which is weird bc the original file is a jpeg.
