Yes disturbing indeed about Lisa's comment. Rashida's documentary is salient. It was definitely an eye opener. Maybe because I'm getting older but I've noticed a lot of material produced in porn these days have a preponderance of teenager related themes. Many websites have certain teenage niches such as "teens love huge cocks." It's sometimes overwhelming because it's saturated. There are so many new faces on a regular basis. I suppose a lot of folks are riding this teen wave, pun not intended. I can't help but realize most of these young women will suffer the aftermath of an exploitive trend in the current porn industry. Hopefully these ladies will find a successful and healthy career path like Lisa Ann post-porn.

Occasionally women in the US write and ask me about doing porn. I always, always advise against it in this country! (Unless they are doing their own site) Recently a very interesting woman who knows several of MyPervertedMen wrote me. Two of them had vouched for her and told me that the two of us would probably really like each other. They told me she is for real and not about the money. She asked me a slew of questions. One of them was about doing professional porn in the USA. I advised her against working for anyone! I told her that if she wanted to explore her sexuality and porn, she should do it for herself and only herself and only do what gets her off. I guess she had to find out on her own and she traveled to meet several different companies/agancies a few weeks ago. She wrote me the other day and told me it was a huge mistake. She has never felt so much doubt about herself or her sexual journey. She said she felt dirty and ashamed. She was treated like dirt, advised to get several operations if "she wanted to make it." She is a beautiful woman with a very nice spirit. I can't imagine what kind of damage the porn people wanted her to do to her body and soul just for money.

The reason I give this advice to anyone who asks is that I have never received an email from or met an American porn industry person who hasn't turned me off. (except for maybe one amateur couple) They are all about the money and the impression I get is that they think of women as disposable cattle and prey upon the weak or the uninformed. When I started my site so many years ago, I was lucky that a very experienced swinger couple gave me the same advice. "If you love sex, stay away from the pro porn industry in the USA!"

That said, I have gotten the general feeling that the European scene is much better. I hope so. I have to admit to being a fan of Annette Schwartz and have seen several other Europeans who seem into it for their own sexual gratification.

Thank you for sharing your insightful story Piper. I had no idea American porn companies can be that insolent. Were they prominent websites like Brazzers et. al? Such a shame women in the adult entertainment industry are being treated with utter indifference to their self-worth beyond physical appearances. Shame on these people. Perhaps small independent companies are treating their performers with respect and dignity; other niche porn sites not heterosexually driven.

I've been consuming pornography ever since my first introduction to a "dirty mag" as a kid. My perception and preference have changed for the better as I got older; thanks primarily to a lady friend of mine who helped me see through the bullshit. In other words, I learned to view porn from a woman's perspective. I really appreciate women in porn who do not modify their bodies to meet the status quo such as breast implants. I never mix reality with pornographic misrepresentation of sex and women. It's purely entertainment. I always hope everyone involved in the scenes I watch are treated fairly and respectfully on and off camera. Since it's only a job for these folks, workers' rights should be treated like any other place of employment. Apparently that's not always the case.

I am thankful, Piper, for your sex positive demonstrations of your sexuality for all of us to enjoy. I'm glad to hear you have given women advice and wisdom so that they can explore their own fantasies in their own terms.
