Default Opinion- I hate the terms "Slut", "Whore" etc.

I know in some cases this is role-play, but in general I hate these derogatory terms for women who willingly put out hardcore content. I love the HELL out of facials, etc., but I just cannot stand to hear the women doing this be called horrible, derogatory names. I'm not even opposed to consensual rough sex, but as soon as I read "Here's a bunch of sluts/whores/dumpsters who did..." I am really put off. Women who do these things are our equals, normal humans who you might meet in a grocery store, or working at a gas station.

Anyway, not asking for a rule change or any policing, but does anyone else here think the same? I'm HAPPY these women do this stuff by their own choice, pick partners(s) of their choice, etc. That doesn't make her a whore or a slut or a bad person. If she wants to put out content describing herself as such it's a different story, though I am still turned off by that.

    Thoughts?

    Well, our first rule is:
    1) No degrading, mean, rude or nasty comments.
Obviously, as you said, everyone has their own threshold for how they want to label themselves and so some people will want to use 'degrading' language in their role play and with their own homemade images online. However we don't tolerate overly misogynistic language on the forum directed at others and will remove or alter this when we see it. It is hard to pick up on every comment though, so we encourage any members who see something that breaks any of the forum rules to alert a moderator so we can assess and sort it out.

Well put Pranky, I find it offensive and just not necessary. Frankly I think it says more about the poster than it does about the ladies portrayed.

Well, this will probably make me as popular as a skunk at a cookout but I just wanted to put my two cent's worth in. I'm one of "those posters" and I do respect the opinions of others here and wish to not offend anyone but some of this is determined by the perspective of the reader. I agree that if one regards the terms mentioned, used in the context in which they are, as intended to be insulting or degrading then there is absolutely no place for them...period! This is however a porn forum and some regard those terms as a turn-on and others regard them as superlatives. The inference may be that a woman termed a "slut" is skilled at sexual feats of openly enjoys sex more than other women. My wife is one who, far from taking that specific term as a insult, regards if as a compliment, when used only in regarding her sexual feats. She has gone as far as to call herself a "super-slut". "whore" is another word she takes no offense to, again when used in the right context. For instance after a particularly rousing session she'll say something like, "Damn, I loved that! I'm such a whore".

In any case, I think (or at least hope!) all of us here have respect for each other. If that means carefully choosing the right words it saddens me but I will comply but need to at least explain that most of us never meant any of those terms, used in the context of a porn form, to be degrading or insulting.

I always thought that a slut was a woman who had sex with multiple partners (non - monogamous), and a whore was someone who was paid to have sex (prostitute)
