I do not condone violence towards women of any sort beyond a good caning or spanking on her arse even if mutually agreed. If it involves injury or mutilation then I can only assume the person receiving the torture is not of a sound mind and the person inflicting the pain is also worrying unstable. That said there has always been a history of sexually and physically abusing women, often in the name of religion and it still goes on today in many parts of the world. This is the beauty of artwork, it can be as extreme as the artist wants without hurting anyone. The pen is mightier than the sword.
