Help with playing a file

Hello all,

Recently I grabbed a vid in 12 different chunks. I can only get 15 mins of the file to play though.

The 12 parts were not rar files and windows sees them as .002 . 003 . 004 etc etc and when I click on the first one it plays in DivX player for 15 mins then the vid starts again. I try clicking on one of the other files and opening with DivX again but it says the file cannot be played. I am guessing these files need to be merged in some way but cannot figure out how.

Any help is appreciated.

Take a look at my posts in the following thread on HJSplit files,

(basically we use a program called HJSplit to split large files in order to post them to the forum, you will need to use HJSplit to rejoin the file before it will play correctly).

I finally realised the problem....one of the files was corrupt somehow. I looked at the joint file size and it was not right. I redownloaded the 2nd file and all is well.
