Download managers and attachement.php

Hello,

Is there anybody here successfully using a download manager with series of files?
I am using Metaproducts Mass Downloader but also tried Avant's Downloads manager (Avant beta version).
All of them invariably try to download files bearing the name attachement.php, which of course is a big problem:
- First, after the first file downloaded, the second tries to overwrite the first and so on. Using the Rename function is a bad idea because in the end you end up with many attachement.php files numbered (1), (2), etc...
- Second, you loose the original filename and therefore the right sequence that is needed to reconstruct the original file (.001, .002, etc...)

So are there any techies here or only ....
