    Question Help!

I've been havin' trouble with movies, clip and the like lately.
For some reason in any program I use to watch stuff the sound works perfectly but the picture is pitch black. Tried changing codecs, even tried reinstallin' the sistem in case it was from a virus or somethin' and still the same thing happens. Any ideas anyone???

Definitely sounds like a codec issue, personally I use the k-lite codec pack and BSPlayer or VLC and haven't had any issues.

Default No video - only sound

Not telling us the whole story of what hardware or sytem changes
you have made before the problem doesn't help you to get advice.

If you cannot see video and can still hear it's audio on any
software ( player ) then codecs have nothing to do with it,
otherwise you would see an error message displayed.
If you have a ( DVI - I ) cable you must set the flat panel monitor
to display in digital mode to be able to see the videos played by
    your video card.
    Just a warning,
you may experience the effect of not being able to see anything
displayed on bootup unless your monitor resets itself then for
analog display. Just reset it when you startup , and you will need
to set it back again to digital once you're in Windows.

An alternative would be to use the analog output from the
video card to your monitor's analog connector.

    Default Solution imo

I have the exact same problem on one of my computers. i dont know how to fix it but i do know this.
It happens once windows has started up, and i enter a fullscreen application e.g any games etc.
to fix it i just log off then back on again.
