Site very slow?

Hi, I just found this site today and it looks great! I've got lots of content to contribute as I've been collecting amateur pics since way before the Internet existed. However, it seems to be very slow to load the thumbnails and often my IE freezes up. Was just wondering its a temporary problem or what?

Get rid of IE,go to firefox and you will have a much better browsing experience.

This could be down to us configuring settings on the new server we have fitted.
But I also wouldn't put any trust with "Ole Billy's Bloated Browser" IE sucks big style I would give Firefox a try, you might be surprised!!
