    Default Forum stops responding

Wondering if I'm the only one---

while I'm browsing FF.net, at some point every time, the forum just stops responding. It can happen right away, or it can take ten or eleven minutes, rarely more than that. This is the only website it happens on, so it does not appear to be a setting with my computer or anything local to me.

It's as if the server just stops responding. I'm using IE and windows XP. When I click a link (any kind of link) it goes into a never-ending wait for the link to come up. The only way to end it is to close the window. It's annoying to have to close the browser and go back in every few minutes.

That is the only reason I did not renew my Platinum membership- no fun trying to navigate that way.

i would sugest it may be to do with your isp, might not be but some isp's have occasional problems when connecting to our servers, if you know how to do a tracert then run one when you are having issues, it will tell you where it is failing

I must admit I have been having the same type of problems for a coupla weeks now, When I ran a tracert, everything seemed to check out, but didn't think to run one when I ran into probs.
I will try that again when I do

    Me too.

The symptoms I quite often see on FF, such as time-outs, would seem to indicate that the servers are periodically grossly overloaded. I see no particular time pattern yet, but I'll try to keep a log from now on.

From what I see here I'd say it's a site problem rather than an ISP problem. I'm in the BST timezone (which is GMT+1).

Today, so far, no problems encountered.

I don't recognise it, it works fine to me. There are sometimes less response to my posts, but I don't think that isn't on topic now .
