It is not for you to apologize, bobocaf. Security is not needed. Having a fun time not ruined by other people is. My man grew up and lived in Boston (Dorchester) until he was 21. He lived in NYC for 5 years and traveled there for another 15 years from the west. NYC is where I met and fell in love with him. I don't have anything against Boston or NYC guys. I am with one for life. I just find that some, a lot of men in those cities have problems relating with women like me in a kind and respectful manner. Maybe you can relate this to your friends and start a positive chain reaction and it will become safe for me to walk down the street. As the kind and respectful man that you are, you would be horrified at some of the stories I can relate to you about just walking down the street in normal clothes in those cities, never mind being dressed more sexy and "deserving" my treatment.Originally Posted by bobocaf

"meatheads" That is a term my man uses. lolThat is hilarious. I don't think I have ever heard anyone use that term besides him. Is that like "wicked"? He doesn't use that one. I was watching Buffy the other night and there is an actress from Boston and she said the word, "retaaahhhded". I laughed out loud. That is the way my man says it when he is drunk and making a joke. He doesn't have an accent unless he is drunk and then it is the accent of whomever he is talking to, like his brother who has a thick Dorchester accent. lol My man can't help it. You should hear him when he is around my uncles with their funny accents.
Don't worry, franklin6. I know many men in Boston are very sensitive towards women. My sister lived there for several years and my man was always trying to set her up with one of his single childhood friends.
