Why illegal? Surely just against NG regulations, if that. What would the charge be?

Conduct unbecoming to start with. The military rules are not very liberal.

On February 5, 2005, the tabloid paper New York Daily News reported that units at Camp Bucca organized and held a mud wrestling party on October 30, 2004. The party was organized by members of the 160th MP Battalion and attended by members of the incoming 105th MP Battalion, who were arriving to relieve the members of the 160th. At least three female GIs stripped to their undergarments and wrestled in a kiddie-pool full of sand and water in front of a crowd of male GIs, and one GI flashed her breasts. About 30 photos of the party, including one of the flasher, have been leaked to the press. The flasher, 19-year-old PFC Deanna Allen was demoted for indecent exposure, and reportedly later discharged from the military.

Defiantly a big no no! They'd have our asses if we were caught doing something like that! They may a National Guard unit, but when you are activated, you are Regular Army, with all the rules and regulations.

Things have changed so much in the military. A much more PC attitude that borders on being nauseating. Last Year I brought in The New Year in Iraq. We had a Vietnam vet that told us when they brought in the New Year there, anything that made noise or light was going off. Rifles, Machine guns, flares, etc. It was quiet as a church mouse pissing on a cotton ball where we were. Not even a horn blow!

My thing is that no matter how PC the military wants to be, one basic fact is that 15 years of rules are not going to override thousands of years of biology. You put Young men and women together, there will be some HE-ing & SHE-ing going on!! (as well as he-ing & he-ing; and she-ing & she-ing)

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Female Kentucky National Guard soldiers who allegedly posed nude for pictures before being sent to Iraq will face nonjudicial, administrative sanctions rather than courts-martial, the Army said.
The women were not suspended and were "busy supporting the war effort," Maj. Jay Adams, chief of public affairs for the 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), told The Courier-Journal of Louisville on Tuesday.

Administrative sanctions can include measures such as docking soldiers' pay or confining them to barracks. Adams said he could not release details because of federal privacy restrictions.

The Courier-Journal reported in September that the Army was investigating whether women assigned to the 410th Quartermaster Unit, based in Danville, had brought discredit to the military by agreeing to be photographed.

The newspaper said it had obtained a compact disc containing 232 photographs of at least a half-dozen nude and seminude women posing with military rifles and covering their breasts with American flag decals.

The unit shipped out for Iraq on Aug. 26. Eleven of the 107 soldiers in the unit are women.
