Question Renaming HJ Downloads with 'Zip'

    Hello All,

I've noticed that some of the larger video files that are split into sections with HJ Split, are given 'zip' suffixes and you're supposed to remove the 'zip' from the file's title before joining them.

I've tried simply renaming the files once downloaded, however, they remain saved as zip files. Obviously, I'm missing something.

    Thanks for all your help.

What OS do you use? Mac, Windows XP or Vista?

Then you need to change your settings so you see the full file names listed. At default Vista hides the file extensions.

    • Double Click on My Computer.
    • Click on the View tab.
    • Remove the check from Hide extensions for known file types.
    • Click the OK button

See also a thread about renaming.

    Good luck.
