It sounds like the files have a double extention: movie.001.wmv
or something like that.
you can check this by doing:
Start --> Run --> "cmd" --> Ok
A dos box opens up now, use the follow commands:
C:\Documents and Settings\user>dir (enter)
Dir --> shows the directory content
cd.. --> go to the uper directory
(in this exampel C:\Documenst and Settings> )
cd download --> brings you in the specified directory
(in this exampel C:\Documenst and Settings\Download>)
D: --> Gets you to the specified drive.
Now move to your download directory
(for exampel D:\download)
C:\Documents and Settings\user>d: (enter)
D:\>cd dowload(enter)
Next take a look at the file (exampel file name "movie.001"
D:\Download>dir movie.*(enter) USE A *!
if the output is:
movie.001.wmv then give the following command:
D:\download>rename movie.001.wmv movie.001 (enter)
Now the file is hjsplit ready
Check all the files the same way (002,003,etc)
PS: make a backup first ;-)
Hope i explaint it ok
hope it helps
