How do I change my avatar?

Can I bump this thread? I am on mac, have generated an avatar pic that conforms to the rules. I can see it on the UserCp page but it doesn't appear beside my posts. Any ideas anyone?

I can see you have a profile pic (on the left site) but not an Avatar (whcih should show up on the right. In the User Cp --> Settings & Options --> change avatar.
And what kind of pix do you try to upload ( jpg, gif, png, bmp, ...)
