Completely unfortunate that people here choose to download the pics and spread them on other sites. The Staff are in 100% agreement with this.
Steps have been taken regarding this matter and we have since contacted the site involved and they have withdrawn them from their site.
Unfortunately we can only rely on OUR MEMBERS themselves to try and understand and respect posters wishes on this matter and not to repost them elsewhere on the net.
Members like Rachel, Alison and Jayne&Matthew have all suffered from this in the past few months and although watermarking helps a lot in many cases for us to prove to the offending sites the validity of our claims, we still have to rely on our very tenuous relationships with these sites when we ask them to withdraw these photos, some are more helpful than others.
As I have said, we can only try to discourage any members from reposting elsewhere by stating in no uncertain terms if these idiots are identified and caught using fellow members photos elsewhere in this manner, they WILL be banned.
All a site has to do is to furnish us with the offenders IP address and they be history.
What these thieves fail to understand is that if this continues to happen on a regular basis, then the possibility could arise when all these amazing members who like to share their fantastic material with us will think twice about posting in here ever again and this in turn will spoil it for everyone!!!
