I don't think that a separate thread would have any added benefit here. PMs work just fine imo.
As far as re-posting goes...well, it's the web and it's going to happen. That is just the nature of the beast. (Not that it does not suck having your personal stuff posted somewhere else.)
Hell, most of us get our porn from torrent sites or P2P networks.
This is the main reason we tell members, uploading personal stuff, to put a FF.net watermark on their photos. This way, the staff can be sure that the pictures were indeed taken from this site and we can take the necessary actions to have them removed. If you would like a great guide to watermarking your pictures, jzzr has a thread here. Alkie also has a thread devoted to watermarking software here. I understand that this is not a fail safe, but it does give you extra protection.
We have always been swift when it comes to issues like this. You guys are the reason the forum exists and the reason has so much great content. Rest assured that we will protect you to the best of our ability. All you have to do is let us know!
