We originally recruited by placing ads in the local (San Jose & San Francisco) alternative newspapers, such as the San Jose Metro metroactive.com/papers/metro/11.11.99/ (if you click on the "Siliporn Valley" story, you'll learn a lot more). That was a rather slow and painful process, given that we needed at least six (6) *qualified* (i.e., good looking and willing to perform) girls a month. As a result, I decided to lease a building in Santa Cruz (a liberal community) and turn it into a production studio. In turn, I took those girls (Joey and Crystal) with me to the Wemaster convention ryulion.com/internext_02-vegas/sat.htm in Las Vegas, where they walked the convention floor and handed out a total of 3,500 free VHS promo tapes of my various sites. The girls were our most powerful recruitment mechanism. We still had to run ads, but having the girls interview new recruits was priceless. Not only were Joey and Crystal full of enthusiasm, they were eager to "help themselves" to some of the girls they recruited. Not only did I capture some of that on tape, I started paying them to do shoots with new recruits who had actually never been with another chick. To ensure it was actually interesting for me (and not a boring gentle girl/girl session), I'd tell Joey there's an extra hundred in it for her if the new chick "was too sore to walk" after she was through with her. I have the most amazing footage, of a beautiful sweet newcomer, taking a massive thick dong inside her. When we're moving the toys off the bed, she sees it and says "that's crazy - I could never take that" and Joey tells her "you already have!" The look on her face was priceless (both at that very moment as well as when she first felt it going inside but didn't realize how thick it was). I'm sure her boyfriend, who knew nothing of the shoot, sensed something was different downstairs when he had sex with her that night (assuming he could - if she wasn't too sore).
The way we came up with the interview questions was by talking with the girls ahead of time, when they first came in to model for us. I'd be pretty casual, and just chat with them, asking questions to learn about their likes and dislikes, as well as sexual experience. When the day of the shoot came, I'd just wing it... play it by ear, leading them into telling me some of the more interesting (in my opinion) things they had told me earlier. Most of their answers were honest, except for their name (we let them pick their "stage" name) and (sometimes) occupation.
Another interesting tidbit... one of the girls, who shot for us four (4) times, called me a year later and asked that I take down all her pics and videos, because one of the guys at her college had discovered her on the site (he was a member!) and was going to share the URL with all his jock friends. In the end, she settled with him - blowjobs in exchange for his silence. I don't know how long that lasted, before she figured out she had made a deal with no end in sight - or a deal in which he could start adding his friends to the equation.
