Last month was a very good month for submissions, so perhaps everyone is spent.
I also thought that there might be more submissions if the monthly contest was started on (or close to) the 1st, as opposed to the 9th or 10th. I figured cutting ten days off of the contest, or 1/3 of the month, cut out someone who might want to post, doesn't have a place to put the photos, then just says the heck with it.
Just my humble opinion and is in no way meant to disparage any current or past thread starters...
