My Seagate 2TB external hard drive has just failed. I have lost my entire porn collection-about 7 years of work. I have tried a few things (including putting it in the freezer as I was advised by one IT 'expert' friend!). It seems that my only possible option is a professional recovery company but I am hesitant to try that for obvious reasons.
Any suggestions?
