CLOSER (stage play & film)
The stage play of Patrick Marber's "Closer" opened in London in 1997 and in the U.S. in 1999. I saw its Los Angeles debut in 2000 at the Marc Taper Forum starring Rebecca DeMornay! (hubba hubba! va va voom!)
Patrick Marber also wrote the screenplay when it was turned into a film in 2004, starring Clive Owen, Julia Roberts, Jude Law, and Natalie Portman.
The play is basically about 4 strangers who become involved in a wild interplay of relationships in where partners are constantly swapped, betrayed, and desired.
I never saw the film version, but have learned that it stayed true to the highly sexualized language of the stage play (which was awesome by the way) !
One exchange between the characters of Larry and Anna during a screaming argument is as follows:
Larry: "Do you like him cumming in your face?"
Anna: "Yes!"

Also, just saw the trailer for new Lars Von Trier film, Nymphomania.
