it's 3.5 I believe Mr. W. But there are some quirks to it too. It sees as if the size is less than 1 Mb it won't play and if you trim it to under 3.5, providing it's bigger than that to start, this site sometimes increases the size to greater than 3.5 Mb when uploaded, and it won't play.

The upload manager says that it's a 2 mb limit on Gifs, but I think there are size limits as well.
